Fade to Color

One of the coolest things about heading out to shoot photos for the day is that you’re never sure what you’ll find. I was set on photographing Mt. St. Helens, but the clouds shrouded the mountain. The sun started to come out at one point and illuminated the raindrops on Indian paintbrush and I darted over the hills to get this shot. It wasn’t what I had in mind, but was one of my favorite images of the trip!
