The color of ribbons have evolved to bring awareness to different causes. To me, it was celebrating a long awaited desire to photograph the Aurora Borealis! The Northern Lights appear on clear nights which is usually accompanied by cold temperatures. This night, walking along a dirt road somewhere in Iceland was no exception as I waited for the lights to appear. I stood in awe as I pressed the shutter release on my camera watching the green ribbons dance across the sky.
