I grew up with horses and LOVE them! What girl doesn't? The Icelandic horses are a breed of their own; not quite as big as quarter horses, but larger than a pony. They are the perfect size in my opinion. And... they are so friendly! I stopped to check out this herd of horses and they were not phased by my presence. They paused briefly to check me out and then resumed eating grass and scratching their withers.
