Summer Avalanche

One of my favorite areas of Mt. Rainier National Park provides an array of flowers throughout the summer. The Avalanche Lilies are some of the first flowers to appear many times around blankets of melting snow. I drove to the Mountain for sunset this beautiful evening and enjoyed an incredible display of nature’s gems.
