Radiance
Most sunsets on La Digue Island was spent on Source d’Argent beach and each night had a different light and cloud mix. Information about the tides are crucial for any ocean landscape, but particularly come into play in the Seychelles with the rock formations. The granite boulders can be fully exposed in the sand during the day, but may be partially or completely under water once the tide comes in. One can do all the research in the world, but sometimes it takes just going to a place to figure it out. These rock formations were deep in the water at the time of sunset and I had to stand in thigh high water with the tide rushing in to get these images while trying to stabilize the tripod.
