The San Juan Islands in Washington state have a resident pod of orcas and others that visit. One is usually guaranteed to see orcas on a whale watching tour because the operators constantly update each other on the radio. This trip we were lucky to find them early on our trip and the sunlight caught their exhales beautifully.
