Secret Garden

This spot was shown to me by another photographer and it has become so popular to photograph that all the ferns have been trampled upon. I went back in early spring and found a moss covered rock that captivated me and became the anchor for the shot in the foreground. I am honored that this image placed second in Outdoor Photographer’s American Landscape Contest in 2017 out of thousands of entries.
